This website Erioquest tries to draw people's attention to some kinds of unusual plants so that it helps people feel wonder of plant life. It mainly provides easy introductions and interesting notes of the plants. At Erioquest people can look around unique faces of the plants which plant evolution allows.
The writer of this website is a horticulturist yet has not taken any systematic training in botany. Therefore its contents would be practical than academic. On the other hand, people can see the plants from viewpoints of attractive features, distinctive characters or cultivation helps through the contents.
Supplying plants
It is quite natural for plant lovers to want to grow rare and interesting plants at their house. Erioquest will be able to offer some plants for sale or for exchange hoping to fulfill their needs.
Though Erioquest's nursery is situated in Japan, we are going to offer plants internationally. We hope to provide not only information but real materials over the border.
Preserving rare plants
Our ultimate goal is to preserve rare plants alive in horticultural scene. We would love to establish steady proliferation methods of those plants, then to establish their steady supply regardless of the scale.
Offering original postcards, photographic prints
Now Erioquest is joined with Makiko's project of photography and picture books, Makiand. We will be able to offer original postcards and photographic prints which she takes. We would like you to give a glance of the images and enjoy them.
